Large hand-blown glass vase, white with scavo (rough) finish, by Seguso (Murano Italy) for Karl Springer, American 1980's (signed on bottom “KARL SPRINGER”). This form is quite rare. The scale of Springer’s hand-blown glass vases makes them exceptional.
Seguso executed Karl Springer’s hand-blown Venetian glass pieces which were typically with a scavo finish.
