Anzolo Fuga Exceptional Hand-Blown Glass Bandiere Vase 1950s - SOLD

Evan Lobel

Large hand-blown glass "Bandiere" vase with green, yellow, blue, red and clear rods with hole in the middle by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy 1950's.  "Bandiere" means "Flag".  This series was so named by the glass blowers at A.V.E.M. because of the way the glass rods laid out before they were blown. This is among Fuga’s most iconic pieces.
