Rare "Tao Shelf" side table in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-applied colorful enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed on top “Philip + Kelvin LaVerne”). The artisanship involved in making every one of these tables is extraordinary.

The caption reads, “Another variation of the TAO series is the TAO SHELF table that dates from the 1960s. The top is engraved with colors while the lower shelf showcases the LaVerne patina.”
