"Fantasia" coffee table in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with abstract pattern by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's  (signed on top “Phillip K LaVerne”). The inspiration of this table is music. The LaVernes were inspired by all the arts.

Rare sculptural "Turtle Table" in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with hand-painted enamels by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed on top “Phillip & K LaVerne”).  The top, with its deep patination and engravings, is meant to look like a tortoise shell. The base was inspired by the concept of yin and yang.

Elegant Dining Table in Bleached Brazilian Rosewood by Harvey Probber - SOLD

Dining table No. 819R with two leaves, top in bleached Brazilian rosewood and base in mahogany with brass stretchers, by Harvey Probber, American, 1950s. Table comes with 2 16 inch leaves. Table is 112 inches wide with both leaves and 80 inches long with no leaves. Bleached Brazilian rosewood was a signature Probber wood. It is extremely difficult to bleach rosewood and almost nobody else did it. Harvey Probber was an important 20th century designer.  He had his own production facility where he employed master craftsmen.
