Daybed/bench with walnut base, upholstered cushion seat and sculptural chrome legs by Martin Borenstein for MB Designs, Challenge Series, American 1960's. Borenstein was a California designer. The combination of walnut and chrome is very pretty. This bench has been refinished and reupholstered.

Pair of Campaign style lounge chairs in mahogany with brass accents and upholstered seats and back rests by Harvey Probber, American 1950's. Refinished and reupholstered by Lobel Modern.
This style was typically made as a dining chair. This lounge chair version was a custom variation fabricated by Probber for a designer client.
These chairs were part of the retrospective at the New York School of Interior Design: “Making Connections: Harvey Probber Furniture 1945-85” which opened February 20, 2020. Evan Lobel was Associate Curator.

Pair of high back lounge chairs with sculpted walnut frames and upholstered seats and backs attributed to Orlando Orlandi, Italian 1950’s. These chairs are remarkably similar to Gio Ponti’s design. There are subtle differences between Ponti’s design and these.
