Anzolo Fuga Rare "Bandiere Vase" 1955-56 - SOLD

Rare and important hand-blown glass “Bandiere Vase” model 13471 by Anzolo Fuga for Arte Vetraria Muranese (A.V.E.M.), Murano Italy 1955-56. The Bandiere series was one of Fuga’s first series designed for A.V.E.M. and the glassblowers came up with the name “Bandiere” which means flag.

Rare and important "Wave Crest" sculpture in hand-brazed and textured patinated bronze with glass top by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1972 (signed in 2 places). The LaVernes were often inspired by nature and the sea specifically. Kelvin summered on Fire Island and the ocean there inspired this design. The LaVernes’ hand-brazed artworks are rare and noteworthy.
