Roberto Estevez Monumental Stylized Torso in Glazierite 1980s

Evan Lobel

main.jpg

Roberto Estevez was an extremely talented jewelry designer and sculptor. He designed jewelry for Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels as well as Tiffany. He had extraordinary talent in creating whimsical sculptures of animals and insects incorporating sea shells, ostrich eggs and other organic materials. He also created more serious works in small editions, mostly in bronze and brass, including those of monkeys and the human form, both male and female.
