These are rare and important works by the artist. They are absolutely stunning in person. They have been newly rewired. Brass has been polished and lacquered. Bases have been refinished.

Rare and important 4 door "Chinois Cabinet" in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with beautiful and subtle hand-painted enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on the front left door). The interior is lacquered red and the shelves are trimmed in patinated bronze. A drawer on the left side of the interior is beautifully finished as only the LaVernes could do. This piece is a Shown in the environmental photo with an extremely rare LaVerne mirror.

Rare “Kuan Mirror” with interlocking cirlcle motif in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on top with original gallery label on back). This pattern is meant to evoke something from the past. Mirrors by the LaVernes are rare. This is a superb example of the LaVernes’ artisanship and devotion to their craft.

Rare and important large "Waves Mirror" in intricately engraved patinated bronze and pewter with hand painted enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “P.K. LaVerne” on top and bottom of frame). This mirror retains the original LaVerne gallery label on the back. This scale of this mirror makes it truly impressive. Philip & Kelvin LaVerne were often inspired by nature. This superb mirror exemplifies the time consuming hand-crafting that each piece required: engraving, patinating and then hand-painting. It’s a testament to their devotion to the finest artisanship.

Rare and important 29 piece studio made set of ceramic plates, serving pieces, and cups by Roy Hamilton, American 1980's (signed and stamped on every piece).  It is rare to find such a large service by Roy Hamilton.

In a NEW YORK TIMES article from 1988 Albert Hadley commented: “In ceramics, the work of Roy Hamilton is certainly expressive of our time, with clean, imaginative shapes and interesting finishes. These objects reflect an appreciation and understanding of quality crafted objects. The classic, quiet things will endure.”
