Stunning "Kuan Su" engraved painting in patinated bronze and pewter with floral motif and hand-applied blue and orange enamels by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “P.+K.” LaVerne” on front). The painting incorporates the Kuan motif of interlocking circles, which evokes something from the past.

The caption reads, “The floral design, a theme the LaVernes came back to over and over, is engraved along with the intricate Kuan motif (interlocking circles), which is meant to evoke Chinoiserie decor from the 18th century.“
