Rare "Coromandel Mirror" hand carved and hand decorated in black lacquer with channels painted in red lacquer and antiqued silver and gold leaf by Karl Springer, American 1980's. The glass mirror is beautifully beveled. The artisanship of this mirror is superb. This is considered one of Springer’s best designs.

Because the inside of the shade is bronze, it gives off a beautiful light. Bottom of lamp is covered in felt. The craftsmanship and design of this lamp are superb. Newly rewired by Lobel Modern.

The combination of satin bronze with polished brass is super chic. The coloration of the bronze is perfectly even - any lighter areas are from the spotlights in the showroom.
