Set of 8 dining chairs, 2 arm chairs and 6 sides, models 1048 & 1048A, in mahogany with upholstered seats and back by Harvey Probber, American 1950's. This is an iconic Harvey Probber design. Refinished and reupholstered by Lobel Modern.

These dining chairs were part of the retrospective at the New York School of Interior Design: “Making Connections: Harvey Probber Furniture 1945-85” which opened February 20, 2020. Evan Lobel was Associate Curator.

Large sectional sofa, upholstered with lucite bases, by Vladimir Kagan, Omnibus Collection, American 1975 (signed with original labels). This sofa is completely modular with 2 corners units, 2 armless chairs (which can be inserted into the sofa or stand alone), 1 High-Low unit, 1 Lounge Bench on Exposed Castors which slides under the High-Low, and 1 ottoman. There are numerous combinations that can be made with these pieces (see photos for a few options). The lucite bases give the impression that the sofa is floating above the ground. It’s a remarkable and iconic Kagan design.

Exceptional “Parsons Style Backgammon Table” in embossed beige lizard leather and inset chrome with interior backgammon board including game pieces and matching pair of “Onassis Chairs” with upholstered seats  by Karl Springer, American 1994 (signed and dated on both chairs and table “Karl Springer 1994”). Backgammon board is made of leather. These came from a private collection in New York.
