Philip & Kelvin LaVerne Engraved Table 1960s (signed) - SOLD

Unique hand-brazed cube table in patinated bronze and pewter with engraved figural motif inspired by Michelangelo’s “ignudi” with enamel cloisonne by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on side). This rare artwork showcases the artistic talents of Philip & Kelvin LaVerne. The figures continuously wrap around the sculpture on all sides. The optional glass top complements the shape of the sculpture.

ALCHEMY: THE ART OF PHILIP AND KELVIN LAVERNE written by Evan Lobel with Kelvin LaVerne, published by Pointed Leaf Press in 2024, this table is shown with another as a pair on page 93 in the section titled Historical Civilization Series. The caption reads, “This pair of sculptured cube tables on casters were inspired by the

Paul Evans Important Welded Steel and Slate Dining Table 1960s - SOLD

Incredibly rare and important patinated welded steel base dining table with gray slate slab top by Paul Evans Studio, American 1960's. This is the only dining table of this design which we have seen. The scale and artisanship are truly superb It is a masterwork of one of the most important 20th century artists.

David Levinthal One-of-a-Kind Large Photograph "Desire" 1991

One-of-a-kind photograph from the Desire series, Scanamural on Copper Lame in a custom copper frame, unique variation outside the edition, by David Levinthal, American 1991. Authentication and valuation by the artist accompanies this unique work. David Levinthal is an American photographer who lives and works in New York City. He uses small toys, figures and props with dramatic lighting to construct miniature environments for subject matters varying from war scenes to voyeurism to racial and political references to American pop culture. His works are provocative and thought provoking. His works are in the collection of The Museum of Modern Art (NYC), The Met (NYC), The Whitney Museum, The Centre Pompidou in Paris amongst others.

Josheph Spohr was a gifted glass artist who did unique designs in glass for Springer. This coffee table with its intricate hand-worked circular floral engraving is a feat of artisanship.
