Rare and important "Kuan Yin Console Table" in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with enamel cloisonne which adds depth to the colors by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on top). This console is absolutely magnificent.

ALCHEMY: THE ART OF PHILIP AND KELVIN LAVERNE written by Evan Lobel with Kelvin LaVerne, published by Pointed Leaf Press in 2024, this table is shown in the section on Historical Civilizations on page 82. The caption reads, ”The KUAN YIN console table dates from the 1970s. In Buddhism, Kuan Yin is synonymous with the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, the pinnacle of mercy, compassion, kindness and love. The three engraved and hand-painted vignettes on the top exemplify these qualities.”

Rare and important vanity mirror in silverplate with thick glass base by by Maurice Desnet and René Nauny (Maison Desny), France (1927-1933) ca. 1930 (Signed “DESNY PARIS, MADE IN FRANCE, DEPOSE”). The bottom of the glass base is sand-blasted. The back of the mirror is a beautiful French walnut. This mirror is simply spectacular.

Rare chandelier model 6201 with 8 lights in brass with cut lead crystal decoration by Hans Harald Rath for J&L Lobmeyr, Austria 1959 (with original invoice). This chandelier is absolutely stunning. Brass and crystals have been cleaned and polished. Newly rewired. Comes with new brass chain and canopy. J&L Lobmeyr created all the legendary lighting for The Met at Lincoln Center.

Extraordinary one-of-a-kind large credenza in walnut with hand-carved center panels with illuminated interior liquor cabinet and bar in the center, dark gray granite inset tops, and flip up top for serving by Vladimir Kagan, 1940's (signed “Kagan Dreyfuss New York / A Vladimir Kagan Design” on back). This is a very rare Kagan masterpiece. The relief carved panels are simply incredible. The bar area shelves are in white laminate so they are impervious to water/alcohol damage, as is the flip up top. There are 2 original florescent lights which are operated with a switch inside. It comes with original keys. We have never seen another example like this one.
