Pair of "Greek Column Table Lamps" in solid lucite with brass hardware by Karl Springer, American 1980's. The cords are embedded into the sides of the lamps so they are invisible when looking from the front. Lucite has been cleaned and polished. Brass has been newly polished and lacquered. They have been rewired. Springer was inspired by Classicism and these refined lamps would fit in any interior.

This piece is meticulously crafted and an early Springer design. The scale of this mirror is very impressive. There is a gentle curve to the arc top which give the mirror an extra dimension.

The LaVernes were often inspired by mythology and the arts. The lighter areas on the outside of the table top are meant to give the ethereal feeling of clouds.
