Large and rare wall hanging mirror with frame in patinated bronze and pewter with corners engraved with “Waves” motif, with hand-painted enamels in blue, green, and orange, by Philip and Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on front). The Waves motif, based on the sea, is one of the most intricate.

Unique “Chinese Dance” Scroll Coffee Table in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with stunning hand-painted jewel tone enamels in blue and green with orange, red, gold and copper leaf highlights by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, American 1960's (Signed “Philip + Kelvin LaVerne” on top.) This table was bent into shape by hand and is a tour-de-force of design. It is truly magnificent. This motif was also called “Marriage Whirl”.

Large "Tower of Babel" painting in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with enamel cloisonne and special framing by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on front right). This was done as part of a special Collectors Edition with Kuan (interlocking circles) framing. The Kuan motif is meant to evoke something from the past. Enamel cloisonne enhances the depth of the colors.

Rare Large "Tower of Babel" painting in patinated and engraved bronze and pewter with vibrant enamel cloisonne, colorful hand-painted enamels and unique engraved frame by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne, 1960's (signed “Philip Kelvin LaVerne” on front). This was done as part of a special Collectors Edition framed in the Kuan motif of interlocking circles, which is meant to evoke something from the past. The depth and quality of the enamel cloisonne against the rich dark patina of the bronze and pewter is absolutely stunning.

Rare and unique coffee table with a large hand-carved wood turtle bejeweled with stunning sea shells, polished agate, amethyst and quartz crystals, coral, and brass accents with a silver plated top plate incorporating polished amethyst stones set inside radiating medallions by J. Antony Redmile, England 1970s (signed “Redmile London” on top). New glass top fabricated by Lobel Modern. J. Antony Redmile had a boutique in London in the 1960’s through the 1980’s selling bespoke artisan works featuring precious and exotic materials. His work was often inspired by nature and the sea. This table is a show stopper and is absolutely magnificent. This table can take any shape glass top. We can help you fabricate one to spec if needed.

Exceptional "Art Moderne Coffee Table" in satin bronze with polished brass inlays and an inset glass top by Karl Springer, American 1980's. The Art Moderne series is one of Springer’s best. This piece has been fully restored - metal has been cleaned, polished and lacquered. The glass top is newly fabricated by Lobel Modern. The combination of satin bronze with polished brass is super chic. The coloration of the bronze is perfectly even - any lighter areas are from the spotlights in the showroom.

The caption reads, “SYNERGY, a unique collage in patinated and engraved bronze, copper, and pewter, was created in the 1970s. Kelvin stated, “This is a work where a confluence of a variety of metals and tones, set at different angles, play against each other to create a sense of movement and composition. A circular design was added to induce a slight textural nuance that contrasts with the plain surfaces of the bronze and pewter tones of the various metals and to complete the synergistic effect I had envisioned.”
